Sport for Intercultural Dialogue (Sport ID) is the collaborative Partnership of the European organizations aiming to create awareness-raising activities for amateur athletes, coaches, trainers, educators who work in the particular fields of sports connected with solidarity and social inclusion.
Red Deporte invited Club Deportivo Canillas to participate in the inauguration of the new football field in Cañada Real. The President of the Club, Fernando Herrero and Carlos de Cárcer, director of Red Deporte, cut the ribbon with the applause and an excellent atmosphere of all the attendees.
Red Deporte, in collaboration with eight European football development entities, has taken part in the publication of the «Team Up Toolkit»: increasing youth employability through football-based programmes to improve the employability of young people through football-based programs.This project has been funded by the European Commission, and for two years we have travelled five countries collecting the best experiences in the field of employability, which are reflected in the content of the manual.
Red Deporte has built a new football field in sector six of Cañada Real for the enjoyment of children and young people living in this neighbourhood of Madrid. This construction has been carried out with the active participation of the young people of Cañada and using recycled and low-cost materials.
