Sport is the identity of our organisation. We see how it makes a difference in development, humanitarian or peace promotion programs.
Children and youth grow up in three core environments: family, school and leisure time. Sport is the easiest way to motivate youth and children to take part in education, health or employability programs in the community.
Create an entertaining, stimulating and productive place for learning, helps reducing absenteeism, drop-out rates and improves school performance. Improve Physical Education in schools, with sport for development approach. Unite sports activity to school reinforcement, out of school schedule.
Health promotion is delivered by physical activity itself. However, our goal is to use the sport environment to engage young people in education for health activities. Our main three topics are HIV/AIDS, malaria and basic health promotion (such as hands cleaning and dental health, among others). Also we deliver programs to prevent from drugs or alcohol consumption.
Use the Sports Center to strengthen the sense of belonging to a socially acceptable environment. The trainer-educator plays a leadership role for our vulnerable youth and children that include empowerment of young women and girls in equal access to sport.
Quality employment is the culmination of educational and training process. Red Deporte is mainly focused on life and employability skills, to facilitate the access to employment for vulnerable youth.
